FRENCH CLASSES AND TUTORING
With everyone self-isolating, Camp Tournesol’s team has worked tirelessly to fill the void, offering a wide array of virtual French classes. Our programs range from a blend of fun and academic French classes for youngsters (arts and crafts, sing-a-longs, book club, etc), as well as more skill-specific programs that work on your child’s French writing and reading.
We also have more academically rigorous offerings for teens and tweens that can enrich their French and put them on track for a DELF certificate! Our professors are all native speakers and/or certified teachers who are experienced in second-language acquisition.

Our 1-on-1 Online Tutoring focuses on one-on-one targeted support with repetition, positive reinforcement, and most importantly, lots of practice. Weekly French lessons are customized by each French tutor with your child’s specific needs in mind. Lessons could focus on crafting specific French language skills or simply completing homework. All of our French tutors are graduates of our summer camp programs, are working in the school environment, or are teachers-in-training, and were selected because of their excellent ability to connect with children.
Students benefit from the individualization and can see themselves improving session after session.
